What mums say...

“Soraya was a very flexible teacher who was happy spending more time on areas that we were interested in or felt we would like support with. She equipped us with everything we needed and gave us the ability to transfer the practical skills to any situation. FAQs

How is hypnotherapy used in Hypnobirthing?

Hypnotherapy is simply the use of words in a more focused and positive way to help you let go of any negative thoughts and ideas you have surrounding childbirth

When should I start the course?

Anytime from 20+ weeks

Should my birth partner attend?

Yes! Hypnobirthing is a great way for the birth partner to learn what to expect and how they can assert their role when the time comes

Who is Hypnobirthing suitable for?

Everyone! The workshop has been designed for all mothers, no matter how you are choosing to birth your baby. We will briefly cover different birthing situations, however, for a more indepth discussion about this I would advise you book a 1:1 session

How long is the course?

The workshop is a 3 hr session run on either a Saturday or Sunday

Can I use Hypnobirthing if I want to use pain-relief?

Absolutely. Hypnobirthing will provide you with relaxation skills that will be useful to both you and baby, regardless of your birth experience. If medical intervention is needed, you’ll find you’ll have the tools to remain calm and in control

Can I use Hypnobirthing if I am having a c-section?

Definitely! Mothers who are scheduled to have a caesarean will have the tools to remain relaxed before, during and after the procedure. This could mean little need for medication following the birth, and could return to normal in a shorter period of time

Is Hypnobirthing only for first time parents?

Not at all. Hypnobirthing can be a great source of comfort to many couples after having experienced a traumatic time during their first birth. Even if your earlier births were straightforward, Hypnobirthing can help you take your experience to the next level

Can I do the course with a friend?

Yes, come along with a pregnant pal and meet other like minded mums to be

How much does it cost?

The investment is £45. I know first hand how expensive having a baby can be so I have tried to make my fees as fair and affordable as possible
